Budget Hearing Woes

I strongly suggest North Smithfield taxpayers take the time to watch the videos of the Budget Hearing held this past Monday night. Mr. Vadenais and Administrator Ezovski have repeatedly alluded to mistakes made by “previous leadership” as the reason for our current financial situation. They are indirectly suggesting the actions of former Town Administrator Hamilton, two prior Budget Committees and two prior Town Councils are responsible for this year’s tax issues. I contend their statements are absolutely untrue and they are simply attempting to deflect criticism from their own actions.

Furthermore, it’s my belief that the town’s finances are going to worsen rapidly as a result of certain actions recommended by Town Administrator Ezovski and Council President Vadenais which unfortunately, a majority of Council members voted to approve. Over the next several weeks I’ll be posting documents and videos on this page to support my claims.
