McGee: Slow Down on Solar Overlay District

Thanks to Town Councilor Tommy McGee and the many town residents that showed up, the Council was persuaded to hit the pause button on a move to approve a zone change for a massive solar installation in a residential zone. The vote to delay action until 5/21 was approved on a 3-2 vote (Councilors McGee, Bartomioli and Zwolenski voted "yes" and Councilors Beauregard and O'Hara voted "no". The Council now has more time to hear from residents and perform due diligence on the impact of such a zone change. You can view Councilor McGee's call for a delay here.
