NORTH SMITHFIELD PASSES CONTROVERSIAL NIKE BOYCOTT RESOLUTION

I think the question here is very simple: Do you think it’s good public #policy for five members of a Town #Board to determine which companies the town should do business with based on whether or not the political ideologies of the company align with their own?

Personally, I don’t believe this is appropriate and it could lead to a very dangerous environment. Let’s be candid, when a board who determines your funding makes a “request”, it’s often perceived as more than a request.
